Thank you for showing interest in our publication. We would like to give you a better idea of what we’re looking for.
We are looking for bits and pieces. More specifically, we are accepting both long (pieces) and short (bits) documents. I.E. short stories, monologs, plays, persuasive essays, interviews with anyone (real or fake), one-acts, letters to us, letters to friends, letters to anyone, bills, catalogs, fairy tales, manifestos, etc.
No poetry please.
We are hoping to publish several longer pieces (ten pages, give or take a few) and a few shorter ones(1-3 pages)
In an effort to make this publication a more connected and cohesive work, we are asking that anyone who would like to write on the following theme, to do so.
Theme for this issue: Panglossian: Adj. Naively or overly optimistic. If you would like to take up the challenge of writing on the preceding subject, it would be greatly appreciated. However, we are still more then happy to receive works on other themes.
Make us laugh, make us think, make us cry, make us cake and your piece will probably be chosen.
As far as payment is concerned, we can guarantee you nothing more than a smile, a handshake (physical handshaking not guaranteed ), and most importantly, the warm feeling inside that one derives from knowing that others are reading his/her work (and inevitably espousing it as one of the greatest pieces ever written). However, who knows what the future will bring. If we start making money, we will share.
Please copy and paste your work directly into the body of the e-mail. (no attachments, as we have a crippling fear of viruses…viruses and spiders) Then Send that e-mail to panglossia@gmail.com.
We will read whatever you send us, and get back to you about it as soon as possible.
Any questions or comments are more than welcome.
Thanks.
